What's Happening at FBC December 15

Inside: Women's event tomorrow, caroling, week of prayer, Christmas Eve, canvas painting night.

Congrats to our Cornerstone Preschool Family on winning third place on their float in the Christmas parade! What a great group of kids and teachers!

Sunday begins our week of prayer for International Missions. There will be a handout in the bulletin on Sunday as well as daily posts on our Facebook Page with ways you can be praying. Our offering goal is $13,000 and the kids banks will be due back December 17.

Unfortunately we are cancelling our caroling night for the kids on Sunday. The weather doesn't look promising and with illness going around, the nursing homes are limiting who they let in. If your family would still like to go caroling you can contact the church office and we can give you the names of some folks who would love to see you! We'll try this event again next year.

Ladies, join us on December 16 for a wonderful time of fellowship and teaching, and invite a friend! To sign up, visit our website or call the church office. We have plenty of space and would love for you to join us!

We hope that you and your family will join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 5:00 PM.

Ladies, we are so excited to be hosting a canvas painting night with Mrs. Sharon Dye! We're going to be painting this cute snowman on a 16x20 canvas. The cost is $40 and includes all your supplies, snacks, and a fun time of fellowship! You can sign up in the bulletin or by emailing Christy (ctarver@fbcthomson.org) The deadline to register is January 2. Don't miss it!

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of part-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator. This position will operate under the leadership of the Youth and Family Pastor and play a crucial role in leading and shaping the children’s ministry department, overseeing programs and activities for children from birth to 6th grade.

Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and three professional references to Rev. Ben Tarver, btarver@fbcthomson.org. Application deadline is Monday, December 18.

Once you have submitted your application, we will email you a more detailed job description and set up an interview time.
