What's Happening This Week: January 16

Inside: Day of Prayer, Lord's Supper, QCC, Triumphant Quartet and More!

We invite our church family to join us in a Day of Prayer for Evangelism as we intentionally lift up the lost in prayer and seek God’s work across our community and our state.

This day is part of Prayer 365, a strategy that urges every Georgia Baptist church to adopt a date and time to pray for the lost of our great state. This is an opportunity for everyone to participate.

Our church’s designated day is Sunday, January 18. Throughout the day, we encourage you to pray as you are able—whether during a quiet moment at home, while driving, during a walk, or in between daily responsibilities. Attached prayer points are provided to help guide your time of prayer and keep our hearts aligned as we pray together.

You do not need to have signed up to participate. Every prayer matters, and every voice lifted to the Lord is meaningful. As a church family, let’s unite in prayer and ask God to draw hearts to Himself and move powerfully through the gospel.

We are grateful for each person who chooses to take part and trust that God will use these prayers for His glory.

Next Sunday we have several things going on! During worship, we will take the Lord's Supper together. Then at 5:00 PM our committees will meet to discuss plans for the next year. At 6:00 PM we will have our Quarterly Church Conference. We would love for as many people as possible to be at this QCC. We have some Vision Team updates to share with you and we will be sharing information about our updated church directory! Please plan to be there!

On February 1, we will have a Next Steps Lunch after church for guests and new members. This is a great time to get to know more about our church and our staff. We would love to spend this time with you and answer any questions you might have. Please sign up on the connect card in worship or email Christy (ctarver@fbcthomson.org)

Join us on February 7 for our annual Triumphant Quartet concert! We are looking forward to having them back at our church and know you will be blessed by this concert. Come and bring a friend!
