Inside: Be here Sunday!

Over the past year, we’ve been on a journey together through our For All Generations capital campaign, praying and planning how God might lead us to renew and reimagine our campus so we can continue reaching children and families for Jesus.
Our Education building has been home to decades of ministry: Sunday School, preschool, Vacation Bible School, RAs, GAs, and so many moments where lives were shaped and faith was nurtured. Many of you have personally benefited from what has happened in this building, and we are deeply grateful for the generations before us who had the vision and faith to build it over 60 years ago.
At the same time, this building is not currently reaching its full potential. It needs significant work—from HVAC and plumbing to bathrooms, flooring, ceilings, and reconfiguring rooms to create more usable space. In many ways, this is the area of our campus with the greatest opportunity for renewal.
I’m excited to share that Sunday, February 22, will be a pivotal day for our church. That morning, David will be preaching a special message reflecting on where we’ve been in our capital campaign and sharing a bold vision for where we believe God is leading us next. Our Campus Renewal Team and pastors have been prayerfully working on a plan to improve every floor of this building—from the top down—so it can serve not only the many children God is blessing us with now, but also generations yet to come.
Toward the end of the morning worship service, we’ll enter a Called Church Conference, where the Campus Renewal Team will present their recommendation for how we can move forward together, building on the momentum and commitments already made through the campaign.
Then, Sunday evening, we’ll gather for a town hall meeting. You’ll be able to view floor plans, talk with committee members, ask questions, and have open discussion as a church family. The following Sunday, we plan to bring the recommendation before the church for a vote.
Just as those who came before us had vision and sacrificed faithfully so we could be where we are today, we now have the opportunity to prayerfully consider what God is calling us to do for the generations that will follow.
Listen to David share about this important update HERE.
