This year, we set a goal of $3,500 for the Mission Georgia offering. We have exceeded that by over $1,000! Thank you for your generosity and support of Georgia Missions.
Next Sunday, October 15, will be our Fall Cornerstone Preschool Sunday. We have so many kids in our preschool that we have to have two Preschool Sundays! Next Sunday will feature half of our preschool students, and then our Spring Preschool Sunday will feature the other half.

Our youth Disciple-Now weekend is approaching! Friday-Sunday October 13-15. Contact Ben for all of the details.
Please make sure your calendar has our Thomson Camelia City Festival on October 21. This community event takes place at the government complex, and plenty of our church members are involved in one way or another. Come on out, rep your First Baptist shirt, and let our neighbors know that we are here for them. If you want to help at the church's booth, please let the office know.
On Sunday, October 29, in the morning worship service and immediately after with a special lunch in their honor, we will celebrate the Wards’ ten-year anniversary at our church. I know you will want to be there to help us celebrate, give thanks to God, and express our love and appreciation to Matt, Shelly, Micah, and Sarah. Watch for more details throughout the month.
Our own 2023 Fall Festival also approaching. We hope you plan on bringing your family! We will need help with face painting and games. Also, as a part of the Fall Festival, we will have a "cruise-in" (a car show without the judging). If you want to bring your car, use the connect card on Sunday or contact the church office.
Every year, Manna gives Thanksgiving meals to families in need. They have asked our church to donate chicken broth. Please bring this donation before the end of October so that Manna has enough time to assemble the Thanksgiving meals. The chicken broth can be in a can or a box. Please place items in the blue bin in the atrium.
