What's Happening at FBC March 7

Inside: Daylight Savings Time, Upward Awards, Putt-Putt Fundraiser, Wild Game Supper, Seder Meal and More!

Unfortunately, I have to start this newsletter off with the depressing reminder that we lose an hour of sleep on Saturday night. The rest of the newsletter is far more exciting....

Saturday is our Upward Awards Ceremony for the kids, coaches and families! We have had such a wonderful season and are looking forward to celebrating with everyone next week! Please pray that kids and parents would respond to the gospel message.

March 11 we are having a family fun night at Putt-Putt that will double as a fundraiser to help cover some of the cost for the kids going to camp this summer. $10 will get you unlimited golf and laser tag! Our church will receive 50% of the profits but you must mention our church for us to get credit!

Planning is well underway for our Wild Game Supper on March 16! WE need your help.. If you have wild game that you can donate for this supper we would love to know so that we can better plan. Please email Matt at mward@fbcthomson.org and let him know what you have! We also will need help serving during the event in several capacities.

On Thursday, March 28, we are going to have a Seder meal as a part of our Holy Week activities. This will be a great time of reflection and fellowship. The cost is $5 per person and you must purchase tickets in advance to help up with the planning. Tickets will be available for purchase in the atrium after service, during Wednesday night suppers or in the church office. Tickets need to be purchased before March 24.

We are so excited to be offering a marriage conference this year! In an effort to be able to keep things simple and affordable, we are offering this conference at our church this year. The cost to attend is $75/couple and will include a nice dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as your choice of bowling or top golf on Saturday afternoon.
