ASSOCIATE PASTOR POSITION. The First Baptist Church in Thomson, GA, is seeking an associate pastor in the areas of discipleship and outreach. Applicants must have a strong sense of calling to pastoral ministry in the local church and at least 5 years of prior ministry experience. He will collaborate with the pastoral staff in leading the church with a “simple church philosophy” to love God through worship, love people through fellowship and small group discipleship, and serve the world together through evangelism and missions. He must possess effective leadership and communication skills, have a passion for discipleship, missions and evangelism, and be familiar with a family-based approach to ministry.
