Words
Words are powerful. Words have built empires, and destroyed them. Words have launched people to fame, and burned reputations to the ground. Is it any wonder James compares the tongue to the rudder of a ship or a raging forest fire! We think of powerful words like, “We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” These words sparked a revolution that continues to bring freedom to people around the world.
But they aren’t the most powerful words. They haven’t impacted the world as these words have:
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:6)
These words changed the world. These words have eternal implications. These words matter to you and me, right now, today. Let’s celebrate the power of these words Sunday morning! And spread these words by inviting your family and friends, coworkers and neighbors, to worship with us.

Easter Sunday is here! Please invite everyone you know (who doesn't attend church elsewhere) to join us for worship! They have two choices: 8:15 and 10:45. Whichever they choose, I recommend that you go with them and sit with them (especially if they have never been here before!)

Let's keep this simple. Here are some bullet points of the upcoming schedule:
*We will have the Easter Egg Hunt inside if it rains!
- Thursday (tonight, 4/2): Lord's Supper Service, 7:00 in the Sanctuary
- Friday (4/3): Cross Procession, 5:00 meet in Chapel
- Saturday (4/4): Easter Egg Hunt, 11:00 in the park*
- Sunday (4/5): Sunrise Service, 7:00 at Savannah Valley
- Easter Worship Services: 8:15 or 10:45
- No evening ministries on Easter Sunday!
- Wednesday (4/8): No evening ministries due to Spring Break
