
Young at Heart is an active seniors group so named because it reflects the outlook and spirit of the members. This group meets every second Thursday of the month, September through May, at 11:00 am for lunch, a special program, and time of devotion. They meet in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church.
Senior Adult Breakfast
Meet us the last Monday of each month at 8:00 am for breakfast at Bojangles. This is a great time for food and fellowship.
Seniors-on-the-Go
We provide opportunities for day excursions to popular surrounding area sites and events. Occasional overnight trips will be scheduled. Information for participation is available for state and national senior adult conventions sponsored by Baptists, as well as Chatauquas scheduled around the nation, including Ridgecrest, for week-long retreats.
Stretch & Flex
Meet with our facilitator Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 am every week for healthy lifestyle advice, and stretching & flexing those muscles. You're never too old for this one-hour exercise session. It provides safe, proper, and effective exercise techniques to provide seniors with optimum flexibility and strength.
